Hello, just a quick note to those clients on our web 7 server. Our monitoring has let us know the storage array attached to that server needs a reboot and software upgrade. You may experience a few minutes of instability during the reboot. If you have any questions please submit a ticket or email support@newbloghosting.net. We will keep this space updated.
Hello, our team has identified an issue with your server. It's a localized impact (meaning it's just your server) Give us just a few minutes to get this resolved.
Thanks,
David
We are currently experiencing an ISP outage at our Data Center that is impacting both our primary and secondary internet circuits. This is an outage upstream from us and we are working with the Data Center and ISPs to try to work around the issue. We will provide additional updates once they become available.

This alert is to let you know that one of our upstream Internet providers will be performing brief maintenance on 4/12/22 between 3:00 AM - 6:00 AM CDT. In order to make sure things stay online for our clients, we will be switching over to one of our backup providers at 12:00 AM CDT. You may see a brief slowdown when this occurs and the providers are switched. We have redundant equipment in place to make this switchover as seamless as possible. Our engineers and support team will be readily available should you experience any issues. If you do need our assistance please submit a ticket at my.newbloghosting.com or email support@newbloghosting.net and we will be happy to assist you.

Brief Maintenance Saturday Night/Sunday Morning
Please Read Carefully
Hello, this is to let you know we need to install some software updates on your server farm. (similar to what your PC or Mac does)
These updates are NOT scheduled during primetime hours
Not all server farms are impacted, if you are getting this email then you will be impacted. As a result we need to do a few quick reboots of your sever. We only expect the downtime of each to be 5-10 minute windows Let me repeat that we only expect the downtime to be 5-10 minute windows for your site, but we have scheduled a larger window just in case its needed.  The window of reboots will be between 11:30 PM and 3AM CST (February 26th/27th) Â
Why are we doing these updates? Similar reasons as your cell phone and PC update, so we can maintain top level performance, security, and latest features for your site. Â
These updates have been tested on non production servers and we don't anticipate any issues.
As always if you have any questions our full team will be available, you can submit a ticket at my.newbloghosting.comor email support@newbloghosting..net and we will be more than happy to help you.
Have a great weekend!
Regards,
Team NBH

Issue has been resolved.Â
Â
We have identified an issue with the old, legacy ns1/ns2.i95computers.com name servers. We are actively working with the provider of that domain to resolve the issue. However, we advise anyone using these name servers to update their domain to the following name servers to resolve the problem.
Primary Name Server: zeus.newblog.host
Secondary Name Server: hera.newblog.host
Thanks,Â

We have received the following from our Tech Admins about the current server issues:
Â
11/18/2010 5:16 AM PST: At approximately 30 minutes ago, the server genesis was showing as mounted instead of running and appeared as down. We applied latest Virtuozzo updates and rebooted the server. Upon reboot, even though the server is up and functioning, it lacks proper network connectivity. We are looking into this issue and will get it resolved as quickly as possible. Thank you very much for your patience.
11/18/2010 5:58 AM PST: We're currently rebooting the server back into the old kernel to see if it will resolve this issue. We'll keep you updated.
11/18/2010 6:55 AM PST: Almost all the Sites have come back up. However, the http service and some other critical services are taking longer to come up. This is due to the fact that a drive in the array is also rebuilding. Therefore, the entire server is taking longer to respond to demands due to high I/O. We do thank you for your patience. You should be seeing all services being restored within the next hour. If we do have any news in the time period, we'll make sure to update this.
Â
11/18/2010 8:30 AM PST: All sites are now back up and running. Thank you all for your patience during this issue and many thanks to the technicians who worked hard to resolve the issue and did so in a little over three hours.
